Welcome to J5 Studio Events ("the service", "we", "us"), a personal events and calendaring site run by J5 Studio. By accessing or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Using the service

  • The service is for organizing and attending events with friends, family, and guests.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service and must provide accurate information.
  • You may sign in using your Google account; you are responsible for keeping that account secure.

2. Your account

You need an account to do some things (like RSVP to events or join the guest list). New sign-ups are reviewed and approved by an organizer before they can participate. We may decline, suspend, or remove access at any time, for any lawful reason.

3. Events and content

Organizers can create events and share details with guests. Information about events, guest lists, RSVPs, and tasks is provided “as is”. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and to respect other people's privacy (for example, not sharing an event or someone's details with people who weren't invited).

4. Third-party services

You can sign in with Google, and events may be backed by Google Calendar. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them. We maintain our own guest lists and don't automatically add you to anyone's Google Calendar event unless you choose to sync it yourself.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other people using the service;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Your sole remedy for any problem is to stop using the service.

8. Changes and termination

We may change these terms from time to time; the latest version is always on this page. We may also suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time and for any reason.
